Dear Becky,

I should have checked with you first and hope I have not mischaractorized your input on the old RootsWeb.

I just posted this to the Boone County Forum.

Your thoughts and conjectures are appreciated.

Dear Forum, Researchers and Friends

Not a few researchers do not recognize Samuel Jarrell as a son of Daniel Jarrell. If I read Ms. Falin's rootsweb entries correctly, the Samuel Jarrell in the 1820 Kanawha County census with wife, two sons and two daughters is given credit to Simeon, though the lettering is clearly read Samuel.

Lemuel and Gibson are in the Giles County 1820 census and Elijah and this "Samuel" are in Kanawha County 1820 census.

In the 1840 Census, Elijah, Simeon, Gibson and Lemuel each have establised households. There is another man of Elijah's age with him in his 1840 census along with three unknowns of approximately the age of those in "Samuel's" 1820 Census.

I also see three marriages provided by researchers that took place, 3 Sep 1804, after Daniel's death.

Samuel Jarrell and Nancy Haney
Lemuel Coffee Jarrell and Elizabeth Betsy Farley
Katherine Jarrell and James Browder

Any help in providing opinion or speculation concerning "Samuel" is appreciated.

Also, the source of Lemuel's name as "Coffee" is appreciated.

Note: The WV Archives transcriber has Lemuel's Raliegh County death record as "Samuel"

Thank you

Just found your website. Thomas Clinton Falin (Person ID #140764) was my grandfather. I would love to talk with you and give you more info about my mother and her brother and sister (who is missing from the list) and their kids, etc. How can I get in touch with you?
I just found your website Becky. I am a descendant of the White Clan. If you can help me I would like to get in contact with Anna Carter. She submitted some data on the White's. You may give her my email address if you can still get in contact with her. She would be my 1st cousin once removed. Also I would love to hear from any Kin.
Thanks
